Meet other Vietnamese-speaking parents and carers and learn how to understand your child's feelings, communicate well and manage conflict in healthy ways.
What this group can help with
This free, culturally-tailored program is delivered in Vietnamese.
It can help you to:
- understand your child’s feelings, including anger, sadness or worry
- understand how your child’s feelings impact their behaviour
- understand and manage feelings that come up for you as a parent
- connect and talk with your child in positive ways
- support your child as they develop social skills
- manage your child’s challenging behaviours
- help your child express emotions and respond to their feelings in appropriate ways.
This knowledge will support your child’s emotional intelligence. Emotional intelligence is a skill that helps children and adults to be more resilient, have healthy relationships, and manage hard experiences.
