Vietnamese Men's Behaviour Change Program (Chương trình thay đổi hành vi của nam giới người Việt)

This program is for adult Vietnamese men who have used violent, harmful or controlling behaviour towards family members, including partners and/or children, and would like help managing their behaviour.

How this program can help you

In current or past relationships, have you felt:

  • angry and frustrated that your relationship is falling apart?
  • that your behaviour within your family has consequences for your relationship and you don’t know why?
  • that you have hurt your partner?
  • that your past history of migration has affected your present relationship with your partner and children?

This group program provides a safe space and the opportunity to:

  • help you take responsibility for and stop using violence
  • explore and reflect on you attitudes and beliefs that may influence your use of violence
  • learn how your violent behaviour impacts your partner, children and family members
  • help you make changes to have safe, healthy and more respectful relationships.

Family safety

Family safety is a vital part of the program. Our family safety practitioners will contact your family members to offer them support and assistance. We do this because people exposed to or affected by family violence also need support.

This program is delivered in Vietnamese by experienced Vietnamese facilitators.
